Culinaire Magazine Presents Brasserie Kensington
Whenever I visit Brasserie Kensington, I know I can expect to be served rustic, quality food with bold flavours and often a unique twist. As such, I was beyond excited when I found out that I won the Culinaire Magazine Brasserie Kensington contest for a special night for four, watching Chef Cam Dobranski and his chefs create a tasting menu including drink pairings!
Throughout the night, we were guided through a culinary journey, starting from the heavenly whipped lamb fat and duck fat biscuit to the lamb tasting board, where I had the best lamb heart and tenderloin ever - super fresh. I’ve always come to Brasserie Kensington for the duck, but now I will also be back for the lamb!
It was a wonderful experience be seated at the kitchen bar and I would highly recommend it. Chuck and the rest of the team were very friendly and offered up interesting tidbits of information about the dishes. It was also fun to watch the chefs busy at work.
As the night came to a close and I finished off the honey truffle ice cream (need a carton of this!), we left a note that basically summed up our thoughts - We’ll be back!
